Can I use a lithium battery with my BMPRO power management system?

It is very important that a lithium battery is charged with a charger that has a lithium profile.

Using an incorrect charger may lead to the following issues:

• Incorrect information on your battery monitor, as the charging algorithms are designed for lead-acid batteries.
• Incorrect low voltage disconnect voltages.
• Incorrect charging profile which can damage your battery's internal BMS.
• Inability to wake the battery if it turns off.

If a lithium battery is fitted to a non-lithium system, warranty is void.
