Why does my BMPRO app require my location to be on for it to work?

In order to use the Bluetooth function on most Android phones, location services are required to be enabled.

This is a security requirement laid down by Google, rather than from BMPRO apps.

BMPRO apps do not use your geolocation data, but require access to it in order to use Bluetooth for the pairing of your system with the app.
