I have two batteries in parallel
Check that the earth strap between the two batteries is going into the negative terminals of each battery.
The earth strap is going into the negative terminals of each battery
The BC300 input needs to be mounted on top of the battery earth to ensure it sees the two batteries as one big battery.
Ensure the BC300 input is mounted correctly.
If the issue is still not fixed, there may be a wiring issue with the van. Please contact BMPRO customer service for a resolution.
The earth strap is not going into the negative terminals of each battery
If the battery negative is going to the output side of the BC300 shunt, the system will always read incorrectly.
Move the negative to the input side of the shunt that is connected to the battery post.
Once this is done, put the van on a 240V charge so the unit can coulomb count the amp display correctly.
