How do I turn the Trek nightlight off?

If the Trek nightlight is on, pressing and hold the backlight button for three seconds to turn it off. The nightlight will stay on for 10 hours unless manually turned off.

The backlight button is the button with the lightbulb on it on the right side of the Trek.
