Can the ControlNode101 connect to my smartphone?

The Bluetooth in the ControlNode101 is unable to communicate with devices other than the JHub tablet. The chipset by today's standards is out of date and will not connect to other devices.

The ControlNode103 is able connect to a smartphone.
