Due to Thor’s motor operation safety requirements, three conditions must be met for a slide to operate:
- The park brake must be detected.
- The ignition must be on.
- Ignition voltage must be detected at above 13.4V.
In certain conditions the battery/alternator may not be fully charging and reaching the 13.4V threshold. If you suspect this is the case, turn on the vehicle headlights or brights to increase the alternator output.
Test at the XB4 connector pin 10 for ignition voltage. If the voltage condition is met, then check for the park brake wire to be putting a ground signal on the park brake input pin.
