The JAYCOMMAND system will lock out the motors if a hard brake by the tow vehicle is detected. This is to prevent unintended motor operation.
If you tap the yellow information icon, a message will appear on the JAYCOMMAND screen that reads “Re-enable via redundancy keys.” The redundancy keys are the 1, 2, 3 and lightbulb keys below the touch screen.
Pressing any of these keys should remove the motors disabled message.
If the message appears in error or pressing the redundancy keys does not enable the motors, the JAYCOMMAND app on the Controller should be updated.
