I am switching a Trek2 for a Trek3. Are the connections on the back the same?

Yes, the connections on the back of the Trek3 are the same as the Trek2, however they are arranged differently.

Connect your data cable into the data cable port, and connect your tank connections into the marked tank connection ports.
