Because the BMPRO Connect Controller is an Android device, it is linked to Google. If you sign in to Google using the Controller, the Controller is added to your personal Google Account.
There are a couple of ways to sign in to Google, but the most common way is by signing into the Google Play Store to download apps or get app updates for the BMPRO Connect app. Depending on your Google Account settings and depending on what you chose when you set up your account on the Controller, you may sync settings from your Google Account to the Controller and import a password, pin code, or swipe pattern.
Whatever method is used to set up a lock screen, intentional or not, BMPRO has NO ability to bypass, reset, recover, or default a password, pin code, or swipe pattern.
You can try the following:
- You can log in to your Google account on a computer and remove the pin or swipe code.
- You can log in to your Google account on a computer and factory reset the device.
- You can use a swipe or pin code from your current cell phone or an old cell phone.
If a number of pin codes or patterns have been entered incorrectly, the Controller will perform a factory reset. If this happens, it is okay - all you will need to do is re-download the BMPRO Connect app from the Google Play store.
