The default battery type setting on the PowerCore3K100 is for gel batteries. If you are using a different kind of battery, you must change the battery type setting.
To change the battery type:
- On the Remote Control Display, press the Menu/Set button to view unit settings.
- Use the up or down buttons to scroll to the battery type setting F09.
- When F09 is displayed, hold the Menu/Set button for five seconds. The setting will start flashing on the display.
- Use the up or down buttons to select the correct battery type.

With the correct battery type displayed, hold the Menu/Set button down for five seconds until you hear a beep. The new battery type setting is saved.

Press the Escape button to return to normal operation.
