How do I change the Battery Type setting on the PowerCore3K100?

The default battery type setting on the PowerCore3K100 is for gel batteries. If you are using a different kind of battery, you must change the battery type setting.

To change the battery type:

1. On the Remote Control Display, press the Menu/Set button to view unit settings.
2. Use the up or down buttons to scroll to the battery type setting F09.
3. When F09 is displayed, hold the Menu/Set button for five seconds. The setting will start flashing on the display.
4. Use the up or down buttons to select the correct battery type.

5. With the correct battery type displayed, hold the Menu/Set button down for five seconds until you hear a beep. The new battery type setting is saved.

6. Press the Escape button to return to normal operation.

Battery Type	Details

AGM	Used for absorbent glass mat (AGM) batteries.
FLD	Used for flooded batteries.
